Most of us go through a phase in our lives when pimples on our faces make life really difficult. Most of us are embarrassed by the red boils that dot our face and wish that we could get rid of pimples. The clogged pores on your face are the reasons for the development of pimples. When you have pimples, blackheads and whitehead, then this is known as acne.  Even though they look too big and too permanent to be treated, you can treat acne pimples and get rid of them.

Most people agonize about how to treat pimples. Although some people believe in popping pimples, you should be aware of the long lasting ways in which this could affect your skin. If you squeeze the pimple very hard, you can manage to burst it open. But very often the burst pimple can haunt you by leaving behind an unsightly scar on your skin.

How to get rid of pimples fast? Simply apply some pure lemon juice on the pimples. Remember to use a clean cotton swab to do so. You can also make a smooth paste of sandal wood and add some a few drops of raw milk to this. Apply this paste to the pimples and leave it on for an hour. Wash this an hour later. A variation of this remedy is the use of rose water in place of the raw milk.  This is particularly effective in the case of people who have oily skin. You can also make a dry mixture of some coriander powder and a pinch of turmeric powder and apply this on your pimples. This needs to be kept on overnight and should be washed off only in the morning. The jelly like gel that you can extract from the leaf of an Aloe Vera plant is also very effective in treating pimples. This gel is rich in enzyme and also has some anti bacterial properties. This can be applied on the area. For more effective results, you can also take Aloe Vera juice internally.

Pimples can also be effectively treated by ensuring that your diet contains fresh fruits and vegetables. You should cut down on sugar, tea, coffee, aerated beverages and food items that contain white flour and dairy products like cheese.  Staying away from rich and oily food items will also help your skin clear up. Drinking water at regular intervals through the day and ensuring that you eat fresh green vegetables are other steps that you can take, to get rid of your pimples. If you follow these steps, you will not have to wonder about how to get rid of pimples.
