Skin Care Treatments

Sometimes it may feel as if your skin is impossible to manage, particularly when you wake up and find a huge zit on your nose or a cold sore at the corner of your mouth. Many spas and skin care salons now concentrate on using natural skin care products. Over the past decade or so, many companies have started to manufacture wholly natural products. The good news is that there are many skin care treatments today. Some of them are listed below.

Honey skin care

Honey's natural antioxidant and anti-microbial properties and ability to absorb and retain moisture have been recognized and used widely in skin care treatments. They help protect the skin from the damage of the sun's rays and rejuvenate depleted skin.

Shea Butter skin care

Shea Butter is derived from the kernel of the "Karate" tree, meaning the Tree of Life. It is to be found in a wide number of products at local drug stores, high-end beauty boutiques, and even e-tailers, today. When used in its purest, unrefined, certified organic form, it helps heal conditions like eczema, psoriasis, stretch marks and dermatitis.

Ayurvedic skin care

Ayurvedic skin care is derived from medicinal practices that are over 2,000 years old. Ayurvedic approach to skin care is holistic; it considers the mind, body, and spirit together. According to Ayurvedic skin care theory there are seven different types of constitutions that govern our skin and hair types: Vata, Pitta, Kapha, Vata-Pitta, Vata-Kapha, Pitta-Kapha, or Vata-Pitta-Kapha. By and large, most people fall into a combination of two of the three principles.

A lot of people use many of the above natural skin care recipes for skin care treatment.
