My skin on the upper arms and legs is getting wrinkled. Can you please let me know what can I do about wrinkled skin on upper arms and upper legs?

As the age of a person increases the epidermal cells present in the skin start to grow thinner and less firm. This in turn has a direct effect on the skin and makes it look thinner. The reduced firmness causes a drop in the skin ability to retain moisture and results in dry skin. Along with this the number of epidermal cells also decreases and hence their ability to divide and regenerate gets slower. Therefore the amount of collagen produced also tends to drop and the elastic fibers that help keep the skin firm starts to wear out. All these combined factors start to take their toll on the skin firmness and eventually cause our skin to sag and wrinkle.

Treat Wrinkled Dry Skin on Upperarms and Upperlegs


There are a number of treatments that you can use to combat wrinkles. One such solution is the use of retinoic acid. The acid is available in a cream form and helps to improve the surface texture of the skin by stimulating the increased production of dermal collagen. This increased production can be achieved by using these kinds of creams daily over a time span of several months.

Apart from this, there are a variety of home remedies that you can try out which have very little side effects even after prolonged use. One of the simplest remedy is the application of egg white to the skin. An alternative to this is the application of odor free castor oil. Another remedy is the use of vitamin E. Take three or four vitamin E capsules and empty them into a medium sized bowl. Add to the powder half a spoon of honey, two spoons of yoghurt and a half a spoon of lemon juice. Using a cotton ball apply it to you arms and legs wherever needed. The proportions mentioned above are the minimum requirements for the remedy therefore if you feel you need to use a larger batch do so, whilst keeping in mind the relative proportions or ratios of each ingredient in the mixture. Massaging coconut oil every night before going to bed will also do wonders for your wrinkles. Seedless grapes are also an effective remedy for wrinkles. All you have to do is cut each grape in half and then crush it on the affected area. Leave it like that for about twenty minutes and then wash it off with warm water. All these remedies will take time and continued application in order to yield effective and noticeable results.
