Carrot Mask – Carrots are very effective on oily skin. They are rich in nutrients that nourish the skin and prevent it from wrinkling. Carrots also promote the regeneration of healthy skin cells which makes it a useful skin care home remedy. Grate a fresh carrot and mix in a spoon of honey. Apply it on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then wash off the mask.

Banana Mask – Ripe bananas can help revitalize tired and worn out skin. Just mash two ripe bananas and add a tablespoon of honey. Apply this mixture on your face and neck, and keep it on for 10 minutes or so. Rinse it off with cold water.

Dark Circles – Used tea bags make for useful dark circle remedies. Tea is rich in tannic acid, caffeine and antioxidants. These soothe skin and reduce skin pigmentation. Refrigerate your used tea bags. Once they cool down, place a bag on each eye and lie down quietly for 15-20 minutes. You’ll notice a difference within no time.  

Lemon – Lemon is a known skin bleaching agent. A lemon masks help reduce skin blemishes, it also boosts skin regeneration and controls ageing. Squeeze out a lemon and mix in egg white from one egg. Rub this mixture on skin. Leave it on for ten minutes before rinsing out, first with warm water and then with cold water.
