What can I do to make this boil burst or stop the pain because it’s raw under my arm now where the boil is? I see a head.  It's so painful!

There are several ways to burst a boil and subsequently stop your pain. However, it is important for you to know a few things before you begin to do this at home. The first thing to do is to ensure that you do not have septic or pus of any kind. In order to determine this, get yourself examined by a doctor who will be able to let you know more accurately. If indeed you have an infectious boil, then you should leave it in the doctor’s capable and qualified hands to take care of it properly and effectively. This is because if you try to do anything on your own, there are chances that you may not sterilize properly and add to the infection instead. You certainly do not want to take a risk like this. Especially considering that the spot is your tender underarm. If you do not have an infectious boil, then you can take certain antibiotics to take care of getting rid of it painlessly. If you want to take care of it yourself, there are a couple of methods you can employ as well.

The first thing to do is tenderize the area around the boil so that trying to lance it becomes easier. You can do this by soaking a cotton ball in hot water and applying it repeatedly to the boil. Nine times out of ten, this will slowly help the skin to rupture itself and thus drain out your boil painlessly. Chances are you will not even have to do anything. Add a few drops of antiseptic liquid to the hot water to ensure that this is done in a sterile and hygienic manner. If you cannot stand the heat, which is also quite possible considering how painful you must be at this point, there are other methods available to your as well. You can numb the area with ice packs and then apply a chilled tea bag to it. Chilled tea bags can easily draw out pus from such boils and lessen your suffering almost at once. Once the pus is out, then you should take extra care to heal the wound so that you are not in this fix again. Clean the wound with an antiseptic solution of hydrogen peroxide and water. After it is dry, you can apply some turmeric powder to it. This will draw out any remaining pus and will also help to heal the wound very well and easily.
