Dark Circles below Eyes, Oily Skin Home Treatment and Dark Spots under Eyes


I am dark having very dark spots below my eyes and along the nose. I want to get rid of them. Also, my skin is too oily; please suggest a home treatment which does not cost me high!

Tips to reduce dark spots and oiliness of skin


You have outlined two different problems that you are suffering from. Your first problem is the presence of dark spots under eyes and along your nose.  The other problem is the fact that your face skin is oily and you would like some remedies that will reduce the oiliness of your face. To get rid of dark spots or dark circles below eyes you can try a variety of methods which have been around for some time now. You can use the juice of a cucumber on these spots. Peel a cucumber and then grate it. Squeeze the grated cucumber to extract the juice. Dip a cotton piece in this and apply on the dark spots. Lemon juice is also very effective in reducing marks. You can use freshly squeezed lemon juice for best effect. You can make a face pack by nixing two tablespoons of cucumber juice with one tablespoon of lemon juice and a few drops of honey. Apply this regularly on the skin and you will notice a reduction in the spots.

You can also use slices of cumber on the spots if you cannot be bothered extracting the juice. Slices of raw potato have a similar effect on the spots. Sour lemon cream is also effective in removing these spots. Apply sour lemon cream on the spots and leave on for some time. When you wish to remove this, dip a soft cloth in warm water and wipe it off rather than washing it off. If you have sour milk, you can use this to wash your face since it is known to be effective in reducing dark spots on the face.

Oily skin can often leave you feeling greasy and your skin feeling coarse. You should use cosmetics which do not add to the greasiness of your skin. Try to wash your face as often as possible. Always pat dry with a soft towel. Avoid eating oily and spicy food. Stay away from food items like fries and other greasy things. Fresh fruits and vegetables will help you skin look good. Cut down on your sugar intake and eat food items that contain whole grains, wheat germ and fresh food. You can puree two ripe tomatoes and use this on your face to reduce oiliness of skin. You can also beat up the white of a raw egg. Add a few drops of lemon juice. Apply this in a thin layer on your face. Leave it till it dries. Wash it off with warm water.
