Dark Skin Around Neck, How To Treat Dark Skin, Dark Skin, Causes of Dark Skin

I have a dark skin around neck, Please let me know how to treat dark skin around the neck?

The dark skin around the neck has very fine folds which are not visible to the naked eye. Such fine folds are the causes of dark skin which tend to accumulate dirt very easily, especially if the person sweats profusely. The accumulated sweat attracts and holds the dirt. Unfortunately, we don’t land up paying much attention to this area while cleansing and scrubbing our face. When dirt and sweat accumulate in these folds over a period of time, the skin turns dark. This problem is more common in people who live in tropical areas.

Thankfully, there are a few simple remedies that will help you take care of this problem. The first thing you need to is apply sunscreen lotion whenever you go out of the house. This will ensure that at least your skin will not darken any further. To combat this problem, it is vital that you know how to treat dark skin? Exfoliate your skin on a regular basis. For this you need a gentle scrub since the skin around our neck is very sensitive. There are a lot of readymade scrubs available in the market to treat dark skin around neck. But if you want to prepare the scrub at home, the most effective one will be a mixture of sugar crystals and olive oil. The quantity should be enough to make it look like a thick paste. Rub this gently on your neck for around 15 minutes and rinse it off with a mild soap. Another scrub that you can make is made up of milk, finely crushed walnuts, orange peels that are dried and then powdered, and a few drops of lemon juice. Apart from exfoliating the skin, the properties present in milk, orange and lemon juice will also work at lightening the dark skin around neck. Alternate between these two scrubs as the first one will help your skin tone and the second one will act as a mild bleaching agent. Aloe-vera gel is also highly effective at lightening the skin color. You can easily apply the gel around your neck every night before you go off to sleep.

You can also mix the juices of raw potato and cucumber and apply this to the darkened area to help lighten the skin. Another effective lotion would be a mixture of almond oil, honey, milk and lime juice. Rub this gently into the skin and leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Try and apply this lotion at least thrice a week. Pineapple juice and crushed tomato juice are also effective at lightening the skin as they both contain bleaching agents.
