There are several dual remedies that will help you out quite easily and effectively. You will also have to make certain changes in your diet to get rid of the problem of recurring acne. The first thing you can do is to cut out fried and oily food from your diet. This will automatically slow down the growth and development of acne, if this is the cause of the acne. In any case, bear in mind that eating right is always good for your skin. You should also start drinking at least 15 glasses of water everyday in order to cleanse out your skin naturally. This is the most effective way of doing so. If you can, drink a tall glass of hot water first thing in the morning. This will not only help to cleanse your skin, it will also help by giving you good bowel movements, thereby cleansing your system as well. You should also try to eat at least three fruits a day, as these will also add to the general cleansing of your system as well as your skin.

In order to get rid of acne, you should follow a daily routine of cleansing and toning your skin. To begin with, you must also exfoliate daily for at least a week. This will help clogged pores to open up and throw out any dirt deposits that are causing acne. You can make your own exfoliating cream or you can buy one from the market. Either will work as well. If you want to make your own, mix enough sugar crystals in olive oil to make a pasty mixture and use this to gently exfoliate your skin. This works particularly well with dry skin. For oily skin, you can use a mix of coarsely ground walnuts, mixed with equal parts of dried and ground orange peels. Mix this with double the amount of yogurt and use in the same way as you would any other scrub. You can use cucumber juice to tone your skin. This will give excellent results in as little as a week. Use a grease free moisturizer. It is preferable to apply this before you sleep, as it will work effectively overnight. For stubborn zits, dab a paste of sandalwood powder and rose water on the affected area.
