  • For cleansing the face after a day’s work dip a cotton ball in milk and rub the face and neck. Milk is a good cleanser and also helps in removing make-up.
  • Cut slivers of lemon and sprinkle salt on it and use it as a scrub. This will lighten the skin tone and clear the dirt and let the pores of the skin breathe.  It can also be used for lightening the elbows.
  • Once a week try steam inhalation with margosa leaves, holy basil, and rose petals, or add a few drops of essential oils of rosemary, lavender, or sandalwood for clearer skin.
  • Mash together papaya, tomato, and honey, or blend strawberry with yogurt to make a face mask. This nourishes your skin with needed vitamins and keeps it supple.
  • Massage yourself with olive oil followed by a hot bath with few a drops of essential oils of lavender, rose, or cinnamon added to relax your body and invigorate your mind.
  • To relax tired feet soak them in hot water with rock salt, Epsom salt, baking soda and essential oils of your choice for 15-20 minutes.
  • For women, natural beauty is enhanced with bouncy, shiny hair. Choose a hairstyle that suits your personality, is easy to maintain, and needs less styling products. Trim regularly to keep spilt ends away. Massage the scalp with olive, coconut, or almond oil and leave for an hour before washing the hair. Break open a vitamin E capsule into the oil. This will stimulate the hair follicles and increase blood supply. Squeeze a lemon into the oil in case of dandruff.
  • Beauty tips for young girls lie in eating well balanced food with plenty of vegetables, fruits, and nuts to enrich the body. Avoid oily and fast foods that can trigger undesired effects like acne, pimples, or oily skin.
