Remove Hair Dye Stains from Skin and Hair

How do I remove stains from hair dye?

I am afraid your question is rather ambivalent.  You have mentioned stains from hair dye but have not mentioned if you have managed to get the stains on your skin or on your clothes. If you have stained your clothes with hair dye, all you need to do to remove hair dye stains from clothes is to heat some water and soak the garment in it for about twelve hours. However, if you have stained your skin with hair dye, then you will have to try various remedies to remove hair dye stains from skin. One of the most effective remedies to get rid of hair dye stains on skin is using nail polish remover on your skin. However, it can not be used over a large area of skin and cannot be used in large quantities. You should use small quantities to clean the dye from your skin. Dip a piece of cotton in the nail polish remover and rub at the stains.

Did you know that toothpaste is also effective in getting rid of hair dye stains? You can simply squeeze out a small amount of the toothpaste on your fingers and rub at the area where the hair dye has stained your skin. Do this for a little time before you wash off the toothpaste. Another remedy for removing hair dye stains off skin is using cigarette ash. Collect the ash from a cigarette in a small bowl. Add a few drops of water to make a thick paste. Apply this on the stains and rub. You will find that the stains do become faint. Once the stains are out, you can use warm water to wash yourself.  Aftershave can also be used on the skin that has been disfigured by the hair dye stains. If you find that the stains are stubborn it is advisable to seek help from a professional who will be able to effectively remove the stains from your skin without causing you any harm.
