Dry Hair Solution, Treatments for dry hair, How to manage Dry Hair

My hair is so dry and rough. Please help me out with a few treatments for dry hair and tips on how to manage dry hair

Dry hair is an indicator that your hair is not receiving the adequate amount of moisture and conditioning that it should get. The first dry hair solution for your hair is that you need to oil your hair regularly. You can use olive oil, coconut oil, or almond oil to massage your scalp. Just make sure the oil is warm and, if possible, kept overnight so that the oil has more time to work.  Leaving oil overnight in your hair is the best way to condition it. Do this at least thrice a week, and if possible, once a week, keep your hair oiled for one whole day.

Other dry scalp treatments for dry hair are fenugreek seeds. Soak them overnight in water and then use this water to rinse your hair after a shampoo. Henna too is known to be an excellent conditioner. Make a paste of four tablespoons of henna, two whole eggs, three teaspoons of coconut milk and two teaspoons of olive oil. You can also add water if the consistency is too thick. Apply this paste on the scalp and the hair liberally and leave it on for around 2-3 hours. Since henna is a natural dye, you might not want to leave it on too long as it will leave a reddish tinge on your hair. Apply this paste once every two weeks. Dry hair is also extremely dull. As a dry hair solution pour beer on your hair after you shampoo it and wash it off after 10 minutes with warm water.

How to manage dry hair? There are a few common things that should become a part of your routine hair care. Use a shampoo that is made specifically for dry hair. Always apply a conditioner after you shampoo your hair and keep it in your hair for at least 8 to 10 minutes before thoroughly washing it off. Avoid using a hair dryer and a hair iron to dry your hair. These will just work at making your hair even drier. Don’t rub your hair vigorously with a towel to dry it after a shampoo. Pat-dry your hair with the towel and let it dry naturally. You can always opt for a shorter hair style, as it is easier to manage. One of the side effects of dry hair is split ends which makes the hair look rough and very unattractive. Trimming your hair regularly will take care of this problem.
