Getting rid of black scars and marks due to injury on leg

I am a black female and every time I get an injury on my legs they turn into black scars and marks. How can I get rid of them always on the front? This is very embarrassing. Help!

It is always good to know that everyone who gets injuries will get scars that are left behind by them. If your skin color is naturally dark, then you should be aware that your scars which will be left behind by the injuries will also be dark. In fact, they will always be several shades darker. It is no point wishing this away. All you can do is try your best to avoid getting injured, particularly in a part of your legs that can be seen. If you already have an abundance of scars, however, you can try to take a few steps to ensure that they are lightened as much as is possible. However, you must bear in mind that this may not always result in removal of scars altogether. You can start a daily regimen of applying aloe vera gel to your scars. This will always help to lighten their color very strongly and quickly. Aloe vera gel is also a great product to apply when you need for your injuries to heal quickly. This product has steroidal healing properties and will speed up the healing process a great deal, thus also helping to remove the leftover marks.

In order to lighten the darkness of the scars, you can also try to exfoliate them at least twice a week. You can use any exfoliating scrub found off the shelf. All you should be doing is add a few drops of freshly squeezed lime juice to the scrub and this will help with lightening the scars as well. Lime juice has mild but very highly effective bleaching properties, which should help in solving your problems largely. You can also use organic apple cider vinegar for the same effects. Yet another alternative to use is hydrogen peroxide. This will also have a bleaching effect on the dark spots you have on your legs. Meanwhile, in the duration it takes for these scars to heal and lighten so that their color is matched with the rest of your skin color, you can help yourself improve the situation by covering your legs as much as possible. Wearing stockings is an excellent way to do this. It will also help to keep your less self conscious. If you can, try to wear trousers as much as possible. This is also another effective way of helping out in the interim. The remedial measures suggested here should take a few weeks to show results.
