Treat long dry hair, split ends, pimples and blemishes on face

My hair are long and dry and have split ends what shall I do. It is blackish under my eyes and I have pimples and blemishes and dark spots left of pimples.

Our skin and hair are a natural extension of our body and reflect our body's health. If you are suffering from some kind of nutritional deficiency or if you have a faulty lifestyle with an improper diet with excessive consumption of caffeine and nicotine, lack of adequate liquid intake, excessive stress and inadequate exercise and rest your skin and hair will reflect it. Dry, brittle hair prone to split ends is usually a result of inadequate consumption of liquids which has left the hair dehydrated. You should improve your diet by consuming more fresh fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, proteins and essential minerals and drink plenty of water and fresh fruit juices. It is also important to regularly massage your scalp using coconut or olive oil to improve the blood circulation in your scalp and improve the health of your hair. You should opt for gentle natural hair care products and protect your hair form undue exposure to the sun, wind and pollution.

Acne or pimples is a common problem afflicting many adolescents due to the change in the hormonal balance. It can also be caused due to nutritional deficiencies or because of a lack of a proper skin care regime. Washing your face daily using a glycerin based soap is important to prevent the occurrence of pimples. You can also regularly apply a mixture of groundnut oil and fresh lemon juice on the face to prevent acne and reduce the scars left behind by pimples. To get rid of pimples quickly and efficiently, you can simply dab some toothpaste on it and leave it overnight. Honey is also beneficial for treating acne problems and can help to get rid of the acne without leaving behind ugly scars. Papaya is another excellent remedy for acne and you can apply the fresh juice of the papaya fruit on the acne to get rid of them without the unwanted scars. Cloves which have been roasted and powdered can be mixed with some curd to make a fine paste which you can dab on the pimples and wash off after 15 minutes once it is dry. This helps to get rid of the pimples and prevents re-occurrence. The traditional face-packs prepared using sandalwood powder or dried orange peels powder and rose water are also excellent for treating acne and fading the scars left behind. Above all, it is essential to eat right and live right. You should have a diet that is rich in the essential nutrients and consume plenty of fiber and water so that the toxins are flushed out of your system regularly, leaving behind a healthy body with flawless skin and lustrous hair.
